Mr. Paritosh Anand currently serves as the Chief AI and Digital Officer of Wadhwani Center for Government Digital Transformation, Wadhwani Foundation, a global not-for-profit with the primary mission of accelerating economic development by driving job creation through large-scale initiatives in skilling, entrepreneurship, government digital transformation, and innovation & and research. Founded by Silicon Valley entrepreneur, Dr. Romesh Wadhwani, the Foundation today is scaling impact across multiple countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America through innovative programs that leverage the latest technology and expansive global networks to democratize access to world-class resources needed to improve livelihood and change lives.
In his current role, Mr. Paritosh Anand spearheads the design and execution of AI vision and roadmap for the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer’s welfare and Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology. His role includes identify and designing an ecosystem of interconnected uses cases through which various stakeholders be it government, non-government, academics, research and start-ups can come together to rapidly scale the idea to implementation journey to create tangible impact in the lives of millions of Indian farmers.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Anand held pivotal positions in multinational corporations such as GE, Deloitte, Eaton and Reliance Industries in setting up their data science and digital practices. He has more than two decades of corporate experience across multiple industries. His expertise extends to leading large-scale digital and business transformations to unlock business value and new customer value propositions.
Mr. Anand holds a Master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Calcutta as well as one-year Executive Program in General Management from MIT Sloan School of Management, USA.
