Akis Evangelidis is a marketing and technology leader with over a decade of experience in the consumer tech industry. As co-founder and India President of Nothing, he plays a crucial role in driving the brand’s vision, market expansion, and strategic direction.

In his role as India President, Akis leads Nothing’s operations in one of the world’s most competitive smartphone markets, overseeing business strategy, marketing initiatives, and key partnerships. He has been instrumental in strengthening Nothing’s position in India – a critical and highly strategic market for the company’s future growth, both locally and globally. Under his leadership, the brand became the fastest-growing smartphone brand for seven of the last eight quarters – the only smartphone brand in India to achieve this milestone in the past decade.

Furthermore, he oversaw the strategic move to initiate the transition of CMF headquarters to India, recently registering the company locally and reinforcing the brand’s long-term commitment to the region. This aligns with the vision of “Make it in India, for the world.”

Before co-founding Nothing, he held senior leadership roles at OnePlus and Sony Mobile, where he drove sales, marketing, and brand growth across key global markets.
