Sanjay Narkar is a distinguished BFSI technology leader with over 40 years of experience in banking and financial services across India and the Middle East. He has held several senior leadership positions, including Chief Technology Officer at IDFC FIRST Bank, Head of IT at Khaleeji Commercial Bank and Gulf International Bank in Bahrain, Senior Executive Vice President at HDFC Bank, and CTO at Centurion Bank of Punjab. Currently, he serves as a Public Interest Director (Independent Director) at Indian Clearing Corporation Limited (ICCL).

Throughout his career, he has led large-scale digital transformation initiatives, core banking system implementations, cloud and cybersecurity programs, IT governance frameworks, and data center modernization projects. He has successfully managed multiple banking mergers and technology integrations, implemented next-generation banking architectures, and overseen IT operations for institutions serving millions of customers. A recognized industry veteran, he has received several prestigious accolades, including the Banking Technology Award, Digital Icon of India Award, CTO Leadership Award, Banking Icon Award, and the Asian Banker Award for Best Core Banking Project. He holds a PGDCA from BITS Pilani, a Diploma in Computer Management from the University of Mumbai, a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and is a Certified Oracle Professional.
